My poor roses!
Here we are again, my roses and fruit trees were totally fooled by the warm weather that snuck in here and there. Now they are leafing out, the plum tree is ready to burst into bloom, and it FREEZES. Snow is forecast for tomorrow! I'll have to check, but it looks like plums are out for this year! I did get smarter about the roses, I haven't pruned them yet. HA! So when I do, I'll prune off all those poor baby leaflets that died from frostbite and will propagate disease if I leave them on the bush. I guess that is what the Lord does for me sometimes when I get ahead of myself. I don't like it much but it makes me better later. ;-)
